Ever been in a hurry then just as you click on 'shutdown'
on that laptop it notifies you updating 1 of 5364..please do not turn
off the power.It has happened severally to me and other people.At times
you want to ask that computer..why now?,funny enough at times the update
my take abit of time.In life there are things which are there to kinda
'spoil' our good day.At times I encounter such moments.Do you realize
how the computer software is designed to be 'kind' to us.It says
sorry,please,we apologise..Can we borrow a leaf.
The better part of last week we didn't have internet in the office.I found myself clicking on the skype icon on the taskbar,it is designed in such a way that there is an animated emoji which rolls eyes and sheds few tears...it was entertaining..to watch that emoji as I read the explanation that said there was no internet connection.I realized that there are such small things that can really change our moods.
There is a day I was having a 'not so good day',yes those days you always wait for 5pm just to go home..and listen to music at maximum volume and dance..hehe yes I dance.I sing too(in the shower)..lol.I was called to another office,I rarely carry gloomy faces.I was just normal.I found two chief accountants and a senior accountant.There was a secretary too.They had been working on some document,when they brought it to the secretary via the flashdisk the document was missing in the flash disk.It was urgently needed by the boss.You can now imagine.That is why I was called.I knew the solution,am always the guy with abit an edge in I.T,am not the guru but atleast I understand few basics.I was so confident.I was the starring..yes.I smiled in advance.With my few basics with the Command line I was able to 'unhide' the files.I wish you could see the excitement on their faces.They were so thankful.I left that office like the Shujaa sevens..hehe,I was a hero,I wasn't an ordinary.I stopped waiting for 5pm...my countenance changed.
In other matters,so equinox ended,yes it did..they are called seasons.It happens in life too,there are different seasons.It as prudent to understand each season.Don't throw away your flask because there is equinox..ooh did I mention flask,we all know that anytime is tea time right?.
Because I haven't known the whereabouts of our cats lately, I will tell you of our high school Physics teacher.His name is Mr Ouma,he was from busia.We loved physics not because we loved him,funny enough neither did we dislike him.We just understood him.Mr Ouma would even teach the class with two people..and he didn't have hard feelings.I remember one time he allegedly left half of our unmarked practical papers in a matatu.We just laughed at that.There are guys who passed physics because they loved the subject.It was about choice.Another thing about Ouma is that he could not pronounce 'characteristics'..he would say 'chararistics'...we passed still.The lesson I learnt is that there are things we can do well because we purpose to and just overlook the underlying challenges..
