Neighbours 40:New hood

I dread the very business of looking for a house,I mean who enjoys that anyway. Its exactly a week ago when I was fully involved in a heated search...that brought me here. When i left the estate for 'greener pastures' or rather lets just call it a search of serious traffic jam on Jogoo road,it was a sigh of relief to my friends who never found me on phone. When I came back the 'no network' question popped up,my friends were concerned how i could have gone back to no network slavery.Dear concerned friend worry no more, the network mast is just located in the plot opposite ours, infact network creeps  up to the hidden parts of my duvet. It was coincidence though,it wasn't a criteria for the house search.I didn't say  that i reside just near a bank_yes,if only that mearnt anything but it remains that;the bank's neighbour. In other news,so yesterday while in town i pop in Rayan Restaurant to atleast get some late lunch.I sat at a  four seater table so the other three seats were vacant. After just ordering the food,of course not arosto(that needs a gang of friends) three young ladies approach the table and enquire if the three seats had been reserved.I said no,that was my company now.I must say i was the 'silent listener to every conversation...the seen guest..''They were from an exam and very hungry..as i followed their conversation. The ladies were young, i could guess they were 20+1 years...ofcourse am young too :).Precisely they are fourth year students at KEMU.They were having a conversation, apparently one of them drives..her own car. They were discussing how some dudes found out that one of the girls had a car.In the discussion i could feel how the dudes were suprised that the car wasn't her parents' car.I was also silently surprised. For now let me pretend that was a non issue,I will buy my car(when I get the dollars). They ordered their food, arosto(goat meat) with some pilau. This reminded me of our campus life. The food they ordered i couldn't ever do that those days.I know the costs, they would part with approximately 10dollars.In 'those days',the then 1dollar(sh.84) would give me a high-end meal at Dolphins cafe.Times really change...we live in different worlds.Atleast i wished them a nice lunch as I left.
Finally the polio vaccine is ongoing,i heard a knock on my door in the morning..on opening,i wasn't expecting anyone..this lady asks '' Uko na mtoi....''thank God i had a clue of the vaccination. That question can give you a heart attack yawa...hehe..but when i grow up i will be like father Abraham...''zii,sina'' was my answer.Enjoy your August :)
