Neighbours 35:The rainy season has been here with us,it reminded us of our roads(read:seasonal rivers). The flooded roads attracted crazy traffic snarl ups, sorry for those who managed full 'keshas' on the roads.Am glad i attended one,not really a full one but a half kesha. The first three hours we were drenched with the rains. We queued until post queuing violence occurred where many of us lost our queue positions. This resulted to a queue with a width of three people and a length of hundreds. We patiently waited and hoped our commuter buses at least would come no matter how late.Funny enough each bus company had its loyal customers waiting for their favorite. In this case M.S versus M.S (Mwamba sacco vs Marvelous shuttle)The later is driven by 'pilots' while the touts are i think 'astronauts'-those guys who swing all over the door while the vehicle is moving. That 'kesha night' had nothing to celebrate, but amazing enough customers would cheer whenever their favourite bus pulled in.By then were fully drenched. In those three hours I made temporary friends,we joked(read:led by Wawaya)..I just like bringing that smile on peoples' faces. Before I forget, thanks to those guys who shared umbrellas with others.Problems really united us.I was reminded of the lady who never talked to me the previous week because I let her sit on a wet seat. This time the commuters were the ones wetter than the vehicles seats...its funny how we are selfish huh...I can imagine what the customers had to endure the next day,wet seats-yes,caused by fellow commuters. That aside,Rwandans...my fellow tall people, there is an influx of these guys around, soon this place will be called Rwanda,no how did I forget this Nigerian neighbor too...I just like how he can't talk in low volumes, yes thats how i knew he was Nigerian...Am proud our neighbourhood has the face of Africa,so next time you want to know which community am from...Kenya it is,we are have an international neighbourhood...am now a goodwill ambassador to Rwanda...lol,am a diplomat...yes :)...

Thanks ya'll keep warm,or kunywa chai na swag as the guy would say in the advert...
